01Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and reside in Algeria (or hold a valid Algerian phone number/email). Store accounts must correspond to a legally registered business. Agent accounts require KYC verification before operations.
02Account & Security
Accounts are created via email with OTP authentication. You choose a role on first login (User, Store, or Agent) — once selected and onboarding completes, your role cannot be changed. You are responsible for keeping your OTP codes private.
03User Responsibilities
Users browse available items, book discounted surplus offers, and pick them up during specified windows. You must present a valid QR code or OTP at the store for pickup confirmation, and arrive within the designated window.
04Store Responsibilities
Stores list surplus items with defined pickup windows, quantities, and pricing. Stores must honor confirmed bookings, maintain accurate inventory, complete KYC verification, and ensure food safety compliance.
05Agent Responsibilities
Agents provide in-person credit top-up services and must complete KYC before performing financial operations. Agents earn commission per transaction and must not engage in fraudulent credit activities.
06Credits & Payments
Waloo uses a credit-based system denominated in DZD. Credits can be acquired via CIB/Edahabia bank cards (through Chargily) or cash-in via authorized agents. Minimum top-up: 100 DZD. Maximum: 5,000,000 DZD. Credits are non-transferable.
- When you book an item, credits are placed in escrow.
- On successful pickup (QR scan), escrow funds release to the store.
- Cancelled bookings return credits to your account (subject to penalties).
- No-show bookings are auto-cancelled when the window expires.
- Refunds are processed in credits, not cash.
07Cancellation & Penalties
Cancel before the pickup window opens without penalty. Cancellations within 2 hours of the window start may incur a credit penalty. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in account restrictions.
08KYC Verification
Stores and Agents must submit a Trade Register and Identity Document (max 20 MB each, up to 3 optional supporting documents). Submissions are reviewed by moderation. Rejected submissions include a reason and can be resubmitted. Fraudulent documents result in immediate termination.
09Loyalty & Referral Programs
Earn 1 loyalty point per 10 DZD spent. Milestones at 100, 250, 500, and 1,000 points may unlock rewards. Points have no cash value. Referral bonuses are granted once per referred user. We may modify or discontinue these programs with notice.
10Prohibited Conduct
- Using the app for unlawful purposes.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or penalties.
- Submitting false KYC documents or impersonation.

11Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms. Suspension can be temporary (with a stated end date and reason) or permanent. Remaining credits upon termination are handled per Algerian consumer protection laws. You may appeal via support.
12Data & Privacy
We collect: email, name, phone, location (for nearby discovery), push tokens, KYC documents, and transaction history. We use this data to provide services, process transactions, verify identity, send notifications, and prevent fraud. Data is stored on Supabase with encrypted KYC storage.

13Disclaimers
Waloo is a marketplace connecting stores with users. We do not prepare, package, or handle food. We are not responsible for food quality, safety, or item availability. The app is provided "as is." Our total liability is limited to your credit balance at the time of dispute.
14Payment Processing
Online payments go through Chargily (licensed Algerian gateway). We do not store bank card details. Payment disputes related to card transactions should be raised with your bank or Chargily first.
15Food Safety
Stores are solely responsible for compliance with Algerian food safety and hygiene regulations. Users should inspect items upon pickup. Waloo does not inspect, certify, or guarantee food safety.
16Disputes
Disputes between users and stores should first be resolved directly. If unsuccessful, contact support@waloo.app or +213 550 000 000. Waloo may mediate and issue admin adjustments. Unresolved disputes fall under Algerian court jurisdiction.
17Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via push notification or in-app announcement. Continued use constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, discontinue use and request account deletion.
